Now that the green is finally washed away, the trailer is unpacked, and life is slowly settling back into its normal rhythm, we’ve had a moment to truly reflect on our journey to Houston. What a whirlwind it has been.

Going into this show, we honestly didn’t expect any big wins. We just hoped to do our best, learn a little more, and enjoy the experience together. So coming home with six trophies — 3 Grands and 3 Reserves — still feels completely unreal. It’s hard to even find the words to describe how grateful and humbled we feel.

To our friends and family who continue to cheer us on, support us, and stand beside us through both the hard days and the good ones — thank you. Your encouragement means more than we could ever fully express.

Our hearts are full, and we’re just so thankful for this journey and the memories we get to make along the way. 💚

Houston Livestock Show 2025 Results

Now that we are home, somewhat rested, and able to process this weekend, We (as Cheyennes parents) are so grateful, and thankful. Houston is a show we don’t miss. We never go thinking we are coming home with anything. We go because of the people and the camaraderie. As Cheyennes parents this is all her.. her hard work, her dedication, her love for this industry, and her time… She spends countless hours in the barn doing it all on her own with just a tad bit of help from us. This is her achievement, her accomplishment, her presenting her girls at their best.

Cheyenne came home with a total of 7 trophies, 4 buckles, and a full heart. She has the biggest heart of anyone we know and I dont think that smile left her face all weekend. 🩷

Camille showed both of these girls at the Louisiana State 4H show. Winning Champion & LA Bred Champion Nigerian with Magnolia and Reserve & LA Bred Reserve Champion Nigerian with Bobbi-Claire.
Magnolia went on to win Supreme Champion & Supreme Champion LA Bred Doe.

The work, dedication, and determination that is put into getting these girls to this point has not gone unnoticed…. 🤩🎉

As a breeder it’s amazing and thrilling to see our animals excel in other herds!

The LSU AgCenter Livestock Show was definitely one for the books. We look forward to sharing the details soon….
