Every donation, big or small, helps support local veterans and the important work this organization does in our community.

You can donate on August 11 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. by scanning the QR code on the sign or visiting ErieGives.org and selecting Embracing Our Veterans.

📢I don’t have many friends on here, so I’d really appreciate it if you could share this and help out a local Erie business the Victorian Princess is currently hiring Deck Hands for the remainder of the summer season! If you or someone you know is looking for a great seasonal job, they would love to hear from you.

Requirements:
• Must be at least 16 years old
• This is a seasonal position that runs through the end of October
• A pre-employment drug test is required in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and procedures

If you’re interested, you can contact the Victorian Princess directly, or send me a message and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction to schedule an interview.

🎉 Great News! We’re Back Open Tomorrow! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Butch’s Place Family Restaurant will be reopening tomorrow JULY 10th 2026, and will be back to our regular hours:

🕡 6:45 AM – 2:00 PM

We want to sincerely thank everyone for your patience, understanding, and support throughout this process. It truly means the world to us.

We can’t wait to welcome all of our amazing customers back through our doors. See you tomorrow! ❤️

📢 Closure Update

Unfortunately, we have to extend our closure a little longer than we originally expected. The installation of our new A/C system is taking longer than anticipated. While we’re just as eager to reopen as you are, this part of the process is unfortunately out of our hands.

At this time, we are hoping to reopen on Friday, July 10, 2026. If there are any additional delays, we fully expect to be open by Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the latest.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and continued support during this unexpected delay. Our team is working closely with the landlord and contractors, and we’ll reopen as soon as everything is safely completed.

We’ll continue to post updates as we receive them. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back through our doors and serve you again soon!

🇺🇸 What an Incredible Day! 🇺🇸

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the 13th Annual Warrior 5K Run and participated in the Meat Raffle! Because of your generosity, this year’s event was another wonderful success.

Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, purchased raffle tickets, or simply helped spread the word, you made a difference. Every dollar raised helps Embracing Our Veterans continue supporting local veterans as they transition out of homelessness and into a brighter future.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Urbaniak Brothers Quality Meats for partnering with embracing our veterans and providing the gift cards for raffle winners.

Your support means the world—not only to us, but to the veterans whose lives are impacted by your kindness and generosity.

🇺🇸 Holiday & Maintenance Closure Notice 🇺🇸

Butch’s Place Family Restaurant will be closed Friday, July 4th through Tuesday, July 8th.

Closure Schedule:
🇺🇸 Saturday, July 4 – Closed in observance of Independence Day.
🔧 Sunday , July 5 – Wednesday , July 8 – Closed while we replace our air conditioning units to better serve you.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday, July 9, with a cooler and more comfortable dining experience!
