From the time we’re little, we’re asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

It’s such a simple question, but I think it plants a seed in us that we’re supposed to pick one thing to BE when really, life is about discovering what we want to DO.

A job is not who you are. And you don’t have to choose just one.

You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to start over. You’re allowed to completely change the direction of your life when something no longer feels right.

Take me, for example. I went to college for fashion, worked in the industry for a few years, and realized it wasn’t for me. Then I took a job in finance because the benefits were great and it gave me a better work-life balance.

Then I had kids.

And I realized, F that. 😂 I want to figure out a way to make money AND raise my kids.

So I did.

Fast forward a few years, and we packed up our entire lives and our business and moved over 1,600 miles away to start a completely new chapter.

And honestly? I’m realizing more and more that we don’t have to have it all figured out.

So if you’re not feeling it anymore… do something about it.

Change the job. Start the business. Move. Try something new. Start over. Take the risk.

Because life is way too freaking short to spend it living a life that doesn’t make you happy. ❤️
