Dail Farms located in Erie, IL is looking for a full time or part time truck driver to assist with hauling complete feed and feed ingredients to and from our feedmill. This position would also help in the manufacturing of feed which would require running a computer and lifting up to 55 pound bags of ingredients. Also seasonally would need to haul grain out of the field to our bin site.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to follow directions.

Ability to work with others and communicate effectively.

Ability to operate a computer.

Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Class A CDL & medical card prefered.

This is a year round position with flexible hours.

We are HIRING In Erie, IL!

GENERAL JOB STATEMENT:
The Feedmill Operator is responsible for general housekeeping along with assisting the Manager from time to time in the manufacturing of feed. The operator will help ensure the mill is kept in a clean state of operation, perform routine maintenance tasks, assist with repair projects, and follow daily tasks as directed by the Feedmill Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to operate a computer.
Assist with the manufacturing of feed.
Keep mill in a clean state of operation.
Perform routine maintenance tasks.
Loading and Unloading bulk feed.
Climbing feed bins.
Cleaning up any spilled feed.
Assist with repair projects.

LEADERSHIP:
Positively represent the company at work and in the community.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receiving and testing corn brought to our elevator.
Ability to operate equipment such as a skidloader (can be trained if necessary).
All other tasks and responsibilities as may be required by Dail Farms.
Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled and required.
Follow all applicable biosecurity measures.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Must have valid driver’s license & your own transportation to and from work.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to do basic math.
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to work with others and communicate effectively.
Will train to attain valid class A CDL & medical card.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Interacts closely with the Feedmill Department, production staff, and general office staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have the ability to manipulate (lift, carry and/or move) light to medium weights of 50-75 pounds.

Feed Mill Assistant

GENERAL JOB STATEMENT
The Feed Mill Assistant is responsible for general housekeeping along with assisting the Manager from time to time in the manufacturing of feed.
