We at Dizzy Lizzie’s Farm are a first-generation family-operated farm providing fresh seasonal veggies, maple syrup, garlic, eggs, and flower products to the local community. We started the farm to offer the community as well as our family a chance to enjoy healthy, high-quality food. We also encourage customers to expand the variety of vegetables they eat by introducing heirloom and newer hybrid

vegetables to market. Dizzy Lizzie's Farm began its operation in 2012 building up its resources and trying out the soil. We did not begin selling our products until the following year and with a greater response than expected, we decided to expand upon our business. It is our hope to be able to offer more products in the future than we already offer with the same great quality. About the family:
Elizabeth Ann Blackburn (otherwise known as Dizzy Lizzie) grew up in Malibu, California and only moved to this area after she reconnected with her husband who had settled locally after college.

It is the time of year when the scenery changes on the farm. We close down the greenhouse , quickly finish planting the rest of the crops that still remain in pots, and begin the big cleanup for Open Farm Day next month. I even get focused enough for a real first mowing of the farmstand and house. We will now begin the checking of Blueberry bushes each day. Coming so soon I can even taste them

On 🐾 a big shout out to our littlest 'Farm Hand,' Zuma! This mighty pup comes to work with us every day really, he doesn't have very far to go ;) Whether it's helping us dig holes (for the planting of course), clearing the farm of sticks twice the size he is, or being a faithful friend to Farm Manager and the rest of the fam, Dizzy Lizzie Farm wouldn't be as fun without Zuma!

Dizzy Lizzie’s Farm is a certified organic farm seeking two part-time workers to help with all aspects of the farm. The job opening is four to five days a week from March – October ( possibly longer). The farm is diverse selling/producing vegetables, berries, cut flowers, plants and value added products located in Erieville, NY. Previous farming experience is not required however would be a bonus. Job tasks will include but not be limited to: bed/soil preparation, transplanting crops, seeding, harvesting, watering, maintenance of tools, direct marketing, washing produce for markets, working a farmers market, preparation of farm stand, handling of small machinery, and preparation of value added goods.
