Well we sure are entering October with some perfect weather! Cooper Brothers is open till 4ish so stop by for some tomatoes, sweet and spicy peppers, our field lettuce and some true South Jersey, triple sweet late season corn, fresh picked from a Vineland farm.

Cooper Brothers is all cleaned up from the storm and opened with beautiful tomatoes and there is lettuce!!!

The coastal flood threat has increased. A 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 is now indicated for Cape May County through Sunday evening.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁

• Widespread roadway flooding is expected in coastal and back-bay areas.

• Some roads will become impassable.

• Damage to vulnerable structures is possible.

• The highest tides remain most likely Saturday morning and/or Saturday night.

• A 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 remains in effect tonight through Saturday night for north to northeast winds of 30–40 mph with 𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟲𝟬 𝗺𝗽𝗵.

• Storm conditions continue on the waters.

• High rip current risk, dangerous surf, and possible dune breaches continue. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀.

• Do not drive through floodwaters.

• Move vehicles out of flood-prone areas if it is safe to do so.

With this impending weather we are just cleaning out the shack of all harvested tomatoes and lettuce and will most likely be closed Sat/Sunday⛈️
So pop by Cooper Brothers
And pick up some of our locally grown tomatoes including some perfect green toms
and some romaine lettuces straight from our Cape May fields.
