Farinelli Club Lambs began as two 4-H/FFA projects merged in 1973 with our marriage and move to Escalon, CA. In the early 1980s, we decided to build a strong foundation of like-bred females and purchased our original ewes from Bill Fitch. Since that time, no outside females have been added. This has increased our genetic predictability, and we have concentrated our efforts on the rams that are cor

rect, sound, and muscular. Our repeat customers have reported that ewe lambs have grown to be highly fertile females with good maternal instincts, sound udders, and abundant milk. They re-breed predictably and are long-lived. We remain in contact with buyers from many years ago and treasure our life-long friendships. After breeding registered Suffolk sheep for many years, we began raising club lambs from our same foundation ewes. We maintain 50 ewes of moderate frame size with enough stoutness to consistently place well in shows and sales. We provide 4-H and FFA youngsters a fair-priced product, as well as replacement females to those who appreciate predictability and an honest product. We strive for consistent genetic improvement and desire to perform well in the show ring and in your flocks. We are grateful to our faithful following and to the many along our journey who have given wise counsel.
