Not every grape makes the cut. 🍇
Once the fruit arrives at the cellar after being picked, one of the first steps is sorting. As the clusters move along the sorting table, our harvest team inspects them by hand, removing any less-than-perfect fruit. Leaves and the occasional vineyard hitchhiker get picked out along the way too. In w**emaking, these unwanted extras are known as MOG, or “material other than grapes.”
Sorting is one more way we can be selective about what makes it to fermentation, and ultimately into your glass.🍷

We’re not the only ones interested in the grapes this time of year. 🐦🍇
Harvest is officially underway! This August in Rockwood, some blocks have already been picked, while others are spending their final days ripening on the vine.
As sugar levels rise, the berries become increasingly desirable not only for w**emaking, but also to birds and other critters.
Vineyard netting creates a physical barrier around the fruiting zone, helping keep the clusters safe and intact during some of their most vulnerable weeks on the vine.
Protecting the fruit until it’s time to harvest helps us bring the best grapes possible into the cellar and, ultimately, make the best w**e we can. 🍷

The 2025 Vintage has officially entered the tasting room, and it’s looking pretty in pink. 🌸

Meet our 2025 Chimney Flats Rosé. Grown at our highest elevation vineyard, the fruit sees intense sunlight during the day followed by much cooler evenings. This vintage has given us our most concentrated rosé from this vineyard to date.

Shimmering and almost hot pink in the glass, this w**e is distinctly red fruit forward. Vibrant notes of ripe raspberry, tart cherry, and white peach carry through the nose and palate. The floral aromatics bring to mind a field of pink and red carnations and lilies, with fresh tarragon and wild herbs adding another layer of depth.

We’ve been looking forward to sharing this one with you. Come be among the first to taste our 2025 vintage this weekend! 💐

There’s nothing better than adding new white w**es to our summer lineup, so we’re excited to welcome back two fan favorites.

🍋‍🟩 2024 Grenache Blanc
Bright and crisp with a subtle complexity, this w**e opens with ripe honeydew melon and key lime, layered with notes of fresh baked bread, mascarpone, peach blossom, and wet stone.

🍍2024 Spear Chardonnay
Sourced from the cool Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara, this Chardonnay is luscious, round, and textured, showing tart pineapple, ripe banana, fresh cream, flinty minerality, and a touch of barrel influence.

Whether you prefer vibrant and refreshing or rich and complex, we’d love to pour you a glass this weekend. 🥂

Power, restraint, and just a touch of wild. 🍇

Our 2023 Anderson Flats Syrah draws inspiration from the legendary w**es of Côte-Rôtie in France’s Northern Rhône, where Syrah has been shaped for centuries by steep hillsides, harsh conditions, and the relentless Mistral winds.

On Rancho Guejito, Anderson Flats is a rugged, exposed site at just over 1,800 feet in elevation. Winds sweep across the vineyard every day. Morning fog blankets the landscape. Head-trained rather than trellised, the vines struggle without the support of wires, producing fruit with more depth and concentration.

The result is a Syrah that is remarkably French in style. Just-ripe black cherry and blueberry lead into savory notes of Kalamata olive, white peppercorn, bacon fat, and cedar. Layers of wild thyme, rosemary, sage, and lavender add dimension to every sip. A lingering finish brings it all together.

We believe this is the most impressive Syrah we’ve produced to date. This w**e will continue to evolve beautifully for years to come.

🍷 Limited production. Not eligible for club points.
