Chuck Yeager of Midway Meadows (HRH Attilah the Hun x Highland Spice Hoppy) had his first go at halter training today. It was- spicy! HOLD ON!
To watch them yield, surrender, allow a brushing, and finally take a treat makes it worthwhile.
Looks pretty good after brushing out that winter calf coat! Our first brindle. His recip is watching closely in the background. “My Boy!”

Does anyone else have a highly intelligent gate escaper?
This one. What a pain in my a**. She plots her escape based upon the skid steer movement in and out. Why? She knows the barn has grain. At least I always know where to find her.
