Hello everyone just wanted to let everyone know I'm on the mend from the tracheostomy surgery and the throat cancer battle is under way. I'm trying to clean up a few things around here since Ai won't be able to run the farm like I used to for the unseen able future. I have some 1lb bottles and 3lb jars of honey available $10 for the 1lb and $30 for the 3lb jars also some barnyard mix hatching eggs available $5 a dozen all proceeds going to helping my family and me battle my throat cancer thank you everyone for your support.

Hi everyone, its Mary Ann Moses thought that it would be easier to post an update on Eric Moses here than individually.

For those who dont know, approximately 2 weeks ago Eric was diagnosed with larynx carcinoma and needed to have an emergency tracheostomy put in yesterday. Once that heals he will have to undergo aggressive radiation and chemo to try and save his voice box and ultimately his life.

He came threw surgery ok and will be undergoing a bunch of therapy to learn how to talk/eat with the trach as well as wait on the official biopsy results so we can make a plan moving forward since the cancer has wrapped itself around his left vocal cord.

I would like to note that his chief complaint was pain in the inner ear. We were totally shocked with the diagnosis. It has rocked this family and it still does not feel real.

Let this be a cautionary tale to not ignore your body and to always advocate for your own health as his primary chalked it up to a simple ear infection.

It was a random PA that finally ordered the proper scans and made the referral for ENT.

Now for the ask.

Ive spent years watching my husband putting his all into this farm. Literally hours watching honey drip, super late nights hatching birds, giving up many holidays to meet customers and taking on dozens of sick or dying animals that people surrendered to us... he did it all, no judgments and at the end of the day at great cost to him and he asked for nothing in return.

After what he has done I ask that you please support him as he begins what will be the hardest battle of his life by leaving him some words of encouragement. He needs all the support he can get.

I thank those who have been there so far for him, Breanna Obrien and Laura Bulger especially. We appreciate you guys more than a stupid post could express. Love you both and just know that I see you!!!

In the meantime I will keep everyone posted as we learn more. Keep in mind that as a farm we are closed and wont be open in the foreseeable future. Something that is breaking erics heart but totally necessary.

Sorry for the scattered post. My heads a mess but I wanted to keep everyone in the loop. Thank you yo those who take the time to read and comment. Eric can see this and will respond as he feels upto it.

Hello everyone I know it has been awhile since I have posted but winter was slow and long and not much going on, but spring is here and things are starting to change.
I have completed the NYS Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator course and have received my license and I'm listed on the NYS DEC website for your nuisance wildlife problems this is NOT A FREE SERVICE.
Honey is also available at the farm in 1lb bottles and 3lb jars sign is up at the end of the driveway.
People have asked about birds, I might be doing some hatching this year but I'm not going crazy with it as I have other things going on so if I do hatching it will be back to the way it was before if BYM they will be straight run only. Any questions or concerns feel free to message the farm.

“Teacup pigs” are not a breed. In the early 2000s, breeders began advertising “teacup,” “micro,” or “mini” pigs that would stay 10–30 pounds forever. Cute photos of tiny piglets in coffee mugs? Irresistible. Add in celebrity hype and social media, and suddenly everyone thought they could have a forever-baby pig in their apartment. The truth is they’re usually baby potbellies being marketed as forever tiny. Most healthy potbellied pigs grow to 80–200+ pounds and continue growing for up to 5 years.

There’s no magical 20-pound adult pig. When pigs are underfed to stay small or sold before they’re properly weaned, it often leads to health issues and later, heartbreaking rehoming situations.

If someone is promising you a “teacup,” what they’re really selling is a myth.

And pigs deserve better than a marketing term. ♥️
