Okay… apparently things have changed a bit with school schedules since I was a kid (you guys are making me feel old 😆).

Most schools DON’T have Monday off, so we have moved this weekends event to SUNDAY, October 11th from 10am - 2pm.

Looking for something fun to do with the kids on Monday while they’re out of school? Come spend the day with us in the pumpkin patch! 🎃

We’ll have pumpkin bowling and Tractors in the Patch happening from 10am–3pm. Bring your friends, come enjoy some fall fun, and make a day of it! We will also have apple picking, free c***r samples, and some fun prizes for kiddos that come out to join us for the festivities!

Our pumpkin display is officially OPEN and ready for visitors 🎃 There are hundreds, if not thousands of pumpkins in the patch waiting for homes!

We’ve got your classic orange carving pumpkins, but also yellow, white, stacking pumpkins, and even some adorable fun flower-shaped pumpkins this year. Plus, all the gourds, mini haybales for your tabletop decorating, and plenty of other fall goodies to fill up your porch.

And that’s just the beginning! You can still pick your own sunflowers, raspberries, herbs, and apples (of course 🍎), and we’ve got our own freshly pressed c***r, c***r donuts, fizzy c***r from Happy Valley Orchard, and so many other good things.

Once you’ve finished checking out all the pumpkins and fall decorations, don’t forget to shop the farmstand! We still have SO much fresh produce coming in every day. Homegrown corn (yup, it’s still going and will keep going until frost!), homegrown tomatoes, some AMAZING pickling cucumbers, winter squash, and so much more.

Come on down for a stroll around the patch and see for yourself the beauty of this time of year on the farm!

‘Tis the season of abundance, and we mean SERIOUS abundance!

It has been a wild few weeks around here trying to keep up with everything that is ready to pick each day. Our crew, pictured here, has been putting in some seriously long days to make sure we can keep up with the harvest and get all this beautiful produce onto the farm stands and to your plates. There have been plenty of early mornings and late nights for us just trying to keep up. We are SO incredibly grateful for the crew that joins us each year from Jamaica. Many of them are farmers back home, so they know firsthand what this time of year looks like and what it takes to keep up when everything is ready at once. And somehow, they do it all with a smile, a great attitude and plenty of laughter along the way. Next time you are enjoying a tasty ear of corn or crisp apple, be sure to give a special thanks to all the people who made it possible for you to enjoy, because without them, there truly wouldn’t be a season of abundance. Our retail crew has also been kicking some serious butt this week, especially while working through some short staffing. Our team’s hard work is the backbone of this farm. Farming takes a team, and we are so lucky to have such an awesome team and community behind us!

And there’s A LOT happening this weekend.

🍎Pick Your Own apples AND raspberries are happening at both Colchester and Essex!

🌽 We have tons of bulk produce available, including canning tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, 50 lb bags of potatoes, beets, corn (which is at its PEAK right now!) and so much more.

🎃 Our big pumpkin display is still under construction and will be ready for you next weekend, but we already have plenty of pumpkins and gourds to choose from in the meantime!

Come visit either of our farm stands this weekend to see for yourselves just how great the season is right now!

We’re looking for cashiers to join our team!

Fall is one of our favorite times around the farm, and we’re looking for a few friendly, hardworking folks to join us at the farmstand now through the end of October!

This is a great job for anyone looking to earn a little extra cash, get outside, meet people in the community, and spend their fall surrounded by pumpkins, apples, mums, and all the fun that comes with the season. Plus, there are some pretty great perks, including free produce!

We’re looking for people who are friendly, energetic, hardworking, have a good sense of humor, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment. We have weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available, so we can work with a variety of schedules. If this sounds like you (or someone you know!), we’d love to have you join us!
