Throwback to when I threw my back out picking berries for some friends to try. 😂 When my physical therapist asked my how this happened, I told her a blueberry took me out. They were tasty though.

This is the perfect time of year to have this leaf on hand! The mullein plant has been used for many things, but I just use it for tea. People have been using this to help ease the symptoms of congestion and colds for hundreds of years. Do you have some in your kitchen for later? Happy foraging landslugs!

Chaga is some pretty awesome stuff! Use of this mushroom has dated back hundreds of years and is a popular drink still to this day. It's a good mushroom to have around when you're feeling a bit under the weather. Its potential to help boost the immune system and keep a cold away is my favorite reason to drink this. 😉 It has an earthy tone, but I love it with a dab of honey. You can forage for this mushroom even in the winter time so enjoy the hunt! Happy foraging landslugs!

A very oversaturated shrimp of the woods, also known as aborted enteloma. This mushroom has the consistency of shrimp, well not this one. 😅 When I saw this mushroom, it had rained for quite some time. I picked it up and squeezed it gently, only to have it fall apart in a watery mess. Have any of you tried this mushroom before? If you have any questions, just let me know!

So, let's continue the info about Velvet-footed pax.😁 Although you can't ingest this mushroom, you can dye with it! With different ingredients comes different colors from purples, to greens, to grays! Do you know any natural dyers in your circle, or have any of you tried using this for dying? Let me know!

Tapinella atrotomentosa or more commenly known as velvet-footed pax! I found this when visiting Maine. Its fuzzy stem is pretty odd to feel because of the size. This is not considered an edible, but still nice to look at and feel! Nature is pretty awesome.
