Our faithful boy Blaze is lit up by the silver light of this August Blue moon. Some nights out walking under the moonlight you can feel the magic in the peaceful calm air. Moonrise farm with deep breaths and memories.

Still no power here at the farm. This will be the 4th day. Unfortunately my old generator gave it up and the new one has failed so, time to get more ice and bottled water. We were primarily a wind event here. I believe the decaying eye of the storm came over us. Glad it was only 60 mph gust’s with the heavy rain bands, as we had about half a dozen trees brought down. Lots of future firewood littered around. Time to get back to work. This pic was taken when the sun came through during the storm.
