As we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year, the Estacada School District Nutrition Services team would like to thank our students, families, and staff for another wonderful year. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving our students again next year!

🤩Great News for 2026-2027!
We are excited to share that Estacada School District will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program districtwide for the 2026-2027 school year.
FREE Breakfast & FREE Lunch for ALL Students!
All enrolled students will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the school day.
School meals include:

🍎 Fresh fruits and vegetables
🍽️ Choice of entrée and meal components

🌾 Food Allergies, Meal Accommodations & Meal Preferences

☀️2026 Summer Meal Program😎
Free meals will be available to all children ages 1–18 this summer. Children do not need to be enrolled in Estacada School District to participate.

Thanks to our growing participation, we served 🤩44% more meals than during the 2024-2025 school year!

Our students enjoyed:
🍌 21,450 bananas
🥒 5,436 fresh cucumbers
🍅 450 pounds of fresh grape tomatoes
🥦 609 pounds of fresh broccoli
🥛 190,000 cartons of milk

💙💛 What a perfect way to end the school year! 💛💙

One of our amazing lunch/recess monitors had students add their thumbprints and sweet messages to this special card for the CRE Nutrition Team. 🥹

As we wrap up another school year, it’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do. Thank you, CRE students and staff, for making us feel so appreciated.

This card will definitely be treasured for years to come. ❤️🍎

🥕🍎 Today our Nutrition Services Department had the opportunity to connect with students at the CRE Career Day!

Our district LMC had a blast handing out coloring sheets and stickers, answering questions about what it takes to work in Nutrition Services, and talking all things food! Students also had the chance to see and touch many of the fresh fruits, vegetables, and other items we offer daily on our salad bars.

One of the highlights of the day was when a third grader asked, “Do you follow the USDA rules?” 😁 The answer is absolutely YES!

We also shared an important message with students: it’s okay to tell your school cook when you don’t care for a menu item and why. School cooks are here for our students, and we genuinely want to know what they enjoy. Student feedback helps us create menus that are both nutritious and appealing.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table today. We loved sharing what we do and inspiring the next generation of Nutrition Heroes! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️🍽️❤️

Today is Kady’s last day with Estacada Nutrition Services, and she will be greatly missed. 🥹

Kady is a hard worker with a positive attitude and greets everyone with a smile. She’s dependable, great at decision-making, and our staff and students absolutely love her.
