I have some exciting news to share!

I’m thrilled to announce that Blooms & Scoops is now fully licensed and compliant with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, which means I’ll officially be able to serve my delicious cookies and ice cream treats to the public!

This has been a dream I’ve been working toward, and reaching this milestone is something I’m incredibly proud of.

At the same time, life has thrown me an unexpected curveball. Just as I received my licensing, I learned that I have two spinal cord injuries that require surgery. My first surgery is coming up soon, and I’ll need several months to recover.

While this isn’t the timing I had hoped for, I’m choosing to see the opportunity in it. During my recovery, I’ll be spending my time perfecting my cookies, creating new flavor combinations, and making sure that when Blooms & Scoops officially launches, everything is the very best it can be.

I’m hopeful that early next year I’ll be announcing one or two local farmers markets where you can find me, along with availability for private events, rentals, weddings, and catering.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in this dream. Your kindness means more than you know. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next, and I look forward to serving all of you as soon as I’m back on my feet!

Mondays and Tuesdays have become my days for baking, creating, and continuing to build Blooms & Scoops from the ground up. The past several months have been full of logistics, licensing, and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making this dream a reality—and while I’m not quite 100% there yet, I’m getting closer every day.

Today was spent handcrafting ice cream sandwiches for a special Mother’s Day event tomorrow in Milwaukie. Each one is made with care, and I’m so excited to get out there and share them.

Thank you for following along on this journey and supporting something that means so much to me. I hope you love each individually created sandwich as much as I do! 🍨

With the weather heating up this could be the last flush of ranunculus. I won’t have any farm fresh flowers after this until late June/mid July. Stop by a grab a gorgeous jar of flowers today before it’s too late!

This might be the last harvest for local farm grown ranunculus and other cool flowers. Watch for updates throughout the weekend for when our stand will be filled with fresh flower jar arrangements
