All of my sons,and all of my brothers, love to order chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast. It’s one of my favorite things to order when I eat out as well. So of course, I had to put it on my menu. We’ve had great compliments on the Kissing Moose Cafe Chicken Fried steak and eggs. Today would be a great day to come into the restaurant and try them out to see what you think.

About 10 years ago, I was visiting Estes Park with my brother and sister-in-law, and some other family members, and we saw a picture of two moose kissing in the wild. I loved that so much! I said,
“Someday, I’m going to have a restaurant called The Kissing Moose café”. My dream has always been to open a restaurant in Estes Park and now here I am with my Kissing Moose Cafe in Estes Park. Tomorrow, August 22, is our first official day open to the public. I can’t tell you what a great feeling it is to be able to say that.
Please come and join us on our inaugural weekend. I’ve had so much support from the community and family and friends and I can’t thank you enough for everything.
I can’t wait to see you in my new place!
We are in the Expedition lodge at 1701 North Lake Ave. Our hours are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm every day.
We also have the Kissing Moose Saloon on the second floor deck at Expedition. Open from 4:00 pm -10:00 pm

Guess what? Kissing Moose Café is officially going to be open this Saturday! It’s been a long road, but we are finally here and ready for all you beautiful people to come in and try out our new menu. It has some old favorites and some new things as well.
We are now located in Expedition Lodge at 1701 N. Lake Ave.
Our hours are 6 AM to 2 PM seven days a week.
We will give a local discount and are just so excited to share our new space with all of you. Please come and see us.😁

Yay! I finally am able to open the Riverwalk location this week🥰 we have been patiently waiting our final licensing for this season. 400 B Elkhorn Avenue behind Serenitea- between Kind coffee and Ed’s Cantina on the river side. What in the world is going on with kissing moose Café food truck, and Mountain Berry bakery Riverwalk location? I’m glad you asked…
We are in the middle of a huge transition! The food truck will not be open this year because it is becoming a restaurant that will serve breakfast and lunch, and will be located in expedition Lodge at 1701 N. Lake Ave. we are hoping to be open by Father’s Day weekend.
We are waiting for some paperwork to be finished for the Riverwalk location, but we will be there this summer and are hoping to open within the next week to 10 days.
Meanwhile, we are still willing and able to take any orders for desserts, breakfast burritos, or catering.
Stay tuned for details on our grand openings!

We have some fantastic news to share with everyone regarding the upcoming season for kissing, moose Café and Mountainberry bakery! Stay tuned for the news flash within the next few days. Meanwhile, we will not be open on the Riverwalk location until June. You can still do online orders or call Vicki at 563-581-2303 or email me at [email protected]. We are so excited for the new season and can’t wait to share all the changes with you!!!!
