Today we are checking the soybean fields to see how they are growing. Sometimes for different issues like ground moisture, slugs, last year’s crop residue, ground temperatures, equipment conditions all can cause issues in seed emergence. These soybeans were planted around April 22nd and looking good right now. Once issued are found we try to collect them as soon as possible as each day we delay could cut profits.

Wow we did not expect this much snow and it happening in March is crazy.

This weekend the barn got a fresh coat of paint and is looking good. We are busy making plans and working on the todo list. Big things coming this year to the farm!

Thank you for an incredible 20th season!

We’re so grateful for each and every one of you who came out and supported the farm this year. It takes a lot of work to bring Grandaddy’s Farm to life each season, but the blessings far outweigh the effort—getting to build our farm team, see your smiling faces, and raise the next generation on the family farm.

As the pumpkin patch season comes to a close, we’ll be packing up, helping the rest of the family finish the soybean harvest, and dreaming up what’s next for next year.

We can’t wait to see you again soon and share what’s new on the farm!

Looking like a wet day today unfortunately.

Today, 10-29-25, the attractions and playground are closed.

The Fall Market will still be open all day from 11:30-6. We have lots of fresh cut pumpkins that are great for carving. 🎃

🎄 Christmas Shopping 🛍️ we have some cool toys still available and some are on sale.

🔍 Mystery bags are going quick and we have new ones out this morning. A several $60 valve going for $20. They go quick so get them while they are available.

Fresh Pumpkins!! Great for carving, decorating or however you want to use your pumpkins.

We have been busy picking fresh pumpkins and there is a great selection to pick from at the fall market.
