Four more sets of twins born today!!! The Katahdins are leading the pack with the earliest lambing, the Royal Whites are a close second (and the most ewe lambs), and today the St Croix finally got started. Lambing unassisted on ryegrass/cool season mixed forage pastures.

Sheep New Years Day!! The rams have been turned in to the ewes for fall breeding. The ram mob was anxiously waiting for us to finish sorting ewe groups by breed …. Looking forward to 2024 lamb crop of St Croix, Royal White, & Katahdin hair sheep.
