For 30 years, the Appletons and the Thibodeaus have been farming the rich Maine land. Our farm is located high at

op Abbott Hill in central Maine's beautiful Penobscot Valley. Our barn dates to 1820 and is a landmark here in our town. Almost everything we eat is proudly grown or raised on our own farms. That means that anything we wouldn't feed our children, we wouldn't put in our garlic. Our garlic venture grew from our friendship and our mutually-shared respect for organic foods.

In addition to garlic and a prolific garden, the farm has been home to sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, goats and even the occasional duck.

The farm's fruit orchard boasts apples, pears, cherries, plums and blueberry bushes. We also have two hives full of hardworking bees to keep all of those plants happy.
