Heifers are moved up to the barn. They start in two weeks. When they get closer we will move them out of weather to have their first calf.

Heather is helping feed this week. I cannot tell if she is enjoying it, cold or irritated at me.

Our Story

We are a family run farm, spanning across 3 generations. Our family values faith, family and hard work. Here is our story...

Ed and Teri began their cattle career in 1996 with the purchase of three Limousin heifers. Their operation began on a small family farm in Spring Hill, Kansas and then moved to Eudora, Kansas near the beautiful Vineland Valley in 2013 where Moore Family Farms "came to life". Ed and Teri have two sons and 5 grandsons. In addition to raising cattle Ed is a general contractor and Teri is celebrating her retirement from Olathe Medical Center.

Dustin joined the family farming business in 2011. In addition to working cattle, Dustin is a fire captain for the city of Lenexa. He and Heather were married in 2007 and welcomed their two boys, C**t and Tyler, in 2010 and 2012. Heather is a teacher for the Eudora School District. Both C**t and Tyler are actively involved in the Eudora community through sporting activities, 4H and church camps.
