Kelso Family Farms A family farm with a goal to produce high-quality show calves that will compete in the show arena and benefit your herd for years to come.

Our farm started in the Spring of 2000 when our oldest son, Matthew, received his first bucket calf to show in 4-H. The brains behind our operation comes from Robyn, who received a degree in Animal Sciences & Industry from Kansas State University in 1989. With her determination and leadership our operation grew to raising registered, Polled Herefords. As the kids grew up, they continued to learn a

bout the livestock industry and show cattle in multiple Douglas County 4-H shows as well as the Kansas Junior Livestock Show. Today, we breed six to eight registered, Polled Herefords as well as two commercial females for producing quality, show cattle that will not disappoint in the ring. We are not the largest operation, but we work for quality rather. Through our selective breeding programs, led by our certified AI-technician, Matthew, we produce quality cattle that will be competitive at local and regional shows.
