On cloudy, rainy winter days, these are the days I find myself longing for. Any other sun lovers out there?

I’m doing my darn best to soak up every ray of sunshine, pop every bubble my daughter is currently obsessed with, eat a cucumber straight off the vine every day, pick sunflowers, jump in the river that runs right next door, and enjoy this season with our growing little family.

These are the good days. The simple, ordinary days.

You were so sweet to us.

Thank you for the bountiful garlic harvest, the cucumber plants that grew like crazy, the loaded tomato vines, and for bringing our sad little cherry tomatoes back to life.

Thank you for Little Farmers School, all the sunshine, and the spontaneous river swims.
