Neither rain or snow or thunderstorms will keep Phoenix Farm Front Porch Farm Stand from being open Sundays and Wednesdays 11-6. Pasture raised meat and eggs and seasonal veggies and fruits as well as goat milk and cheese in season. For the best deal become a Phoenix Farmily Member. Some goat births are easier than others, Jenni was my last to kid, and of course she picked the biggest thunder and lighting storm we've seen in years to have hers. As usual she waited to make sure I was there, it started to rain so I took into my greenhouse barn, as she kept "nesting" and pushing the thunder storm got closer and louder, especially inside the big drum that my greenhouse/barm is. Huge flashes and booms right over head, one big Red flash close to me, I screamed wow. Jenni put head in my lap and made I'm scared noises. She wasn't dilating so I literally gave her a "hand" and with the pelting rain thundering on the roof and the flashing coming often and loud I pulled out a nice big doe. One of the more exciting birthings I've done. Whew.
