Today marks the first day of Capitello’s Harvest season. From Salem to Yoncalla, our team has a busy season ahead of them. We’d like to take a moment to thank our harvest staff for the long hours, physical labor, and dedication they put in during this time of year. Harvest is the most demanding stretch of the year for w**emakers everywhere — and our team is no exception. This period signifies a new chapter, where an entire year of nurturing comes to fruition in the span of a couple months. Staff ensures that grapes are picked at their very best as they cannot be ripened after they’re plucked. 🍇
Imagine taking a snapshot of your entire year and capturing it all in a bottle: all the tears, laughter, growth, and hard work you’ve accomplished. The next time you open up a new bottle, whether it’s been aged for decades or less than a year old, we encourage you to dedicate your first and last sip to the harvest staff that contributed and reminisce on the year it was harvested.
