Hi everyone!

We are back after being away for the weekend and some days and the break was very much needed. Thank you all for the anniversary well wishes too! Time really does fly. 💕

The inbox overfloweth 😅 but I plan to respond as time allows starting today. A peak into one of the chick boxes that flew out yesterday. 🥹💕

Sharing these littles is one of my favorite parts to chicken keeping. Safe travels little ones and I can’t wait to see those colors that you lay in the spring!

We will have more boxes that can fly on the 19th.

A big thank you to everyone who reached out about boxes yesterday! I believe I got back to all messages, but please do reach out if you have any other questions on future boxes.

As much as they went quick, I plan to send more out again on the 19th and the 26th, and then we really will be wrapping things up for the season. 💗

Depending on how all goes with our current gift away event as well (see pinned post at the top of our page here), we could potentially also send out an adult pair or chicks along with these final boxes if we reach 10K before the end of the month.

I’ll be asking more questions with posts and looking for input as I continue to sluggishly work away late at night on some form of ordering site for the 2027 season. The goal is to find a way to better balance continuing to share what we have here with others from our long standing colorful egg laying projects and fun bantam projects while still keeping family as the priority always. For those that are new here, this is a mostly one-woman operation while caring for an almost three year old and now one year old full time, and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. 🥰

We have one more floof box that can fly today after all!

There will be at least a couple of each color project type in this box (olive egger, turquoise egger and purple project egger - 8 total). Express shipping, box fee, snacks, 72 hour heat pack and all else included. Message me if you’d like this box - won’t post any amount here to prevent post flagging.

I’m in the process of slowly piecing together our website for the 2027 season and wanted to ask everyone some questions while working on things.

Do you prefer getting hatching eggs and or chicks in the early spring, middle of summer, or fall?
