The last month has been a lot of preparation on the farm as I head out to France to host our yearly retreat.

It takes a village and a lot of work to make it happen. The sheep are settled on pastures, the gardens are orderly, farmstore inventory is looking good.
I could not do this without the unrelenting support of my family.

A huge shout out to Isabelle at , to Andrew at and to a few other people without whom I could not leave the farm and my family.

ATF Ferdinand, out of ATF Dylan and DK Lykkegaardens Rocky is my favorite ram lamb so far.

This 100% Gotland ram is not as big as other ram lambs in our bunch, but his lamb fleece is maturing nicely, the luster I am already seeing is 😯, his growing curls are lovely and his temperament is 👌.

We will have at least one 100% ram lamb, (new to the US genetics) and most likely 1 ram lamb 98%, (new to the US genetics) AVAILABLE.

Last year, Scottie Jones founder of , and , Rachel Marcotte artist at and I spent a week together with other guests and artists in the South West of France…

I have been wanting to work on a project with Scottie for a long time….Something that would highlight farms, farm stays and farm education.

We teamed up with Rachel, “artiste extraordinaire” and Ta Da, we present to you a coloring book inspired by our farm dogs, farm cats, our sheep, our barns, what we grow, what we love and so much more…

Available through our farms, grab one during your next farmstay adventure, these are also easy to ship all over.

If you are a small business, and would like to carry these coloring books in your store, please let us know.

I will bring them to our upcoming artisan market at , on Saturday May 2nd, from noon to 5.

Gotland lambs are being born in France….
With the help of the shepherds at Cécile Riffet, these lovelies are making their way into the world.
