🌸 The dahlias are finally blooming! 🌸

This time of year is pure magic on the farm — watching the first blooms unfurl never gets old. A few favorites making their debut right now: Café au Lait in all her creamy, blush perfection, and Coralie bringing that soft blush-pink. And I’m especially excited about a new introduction this season — Sweet Nathalie 🤍

Pairing beautifully with Limelight hydrangeas just starting to blush green-to-cream, and trailing green amaranth for movement and texture. This combo is giving everything I love about late summer on the farm — soft, romantic, a little wild.

This year hit the farm hard with all the rain 🌧️ — I’ve been figuring out how to make up for it. So I’m beyond thankful Maddie from Hello Beautiful Boutique reached out about a collab. I’ve spent all week getting these blooms ready for you 🌸

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d become a farmer one day. Farmer’s wife - sure. When God placed this opportunity in front of me, I didn’t ask questions. Trial and error over and over - help from strangers .. some I’ve never even met.
I accumulated debt and was able to recover by barely leaving the house the past couple years🤣 those that know me well will understand that statement. A time of staying in and working the land brought valuable insight to a life I had craved for so long. Funny how things have a way of working themselves out.

Haha, in all seriousness- so proud to be a woman in agriculture. I love working with the kids and adults here at the farm and showing them that they can do anything they put their mind to. Personally, my journey planting and driving the equipment didn’t start until later in life.

If you’re ever thinking about getting into agriculture- I’d love to have you to the farm☺️
