Late updates from the Low Roller Reining Classic -
Gallos Estrella had a great run in the Open qualifying for the affiliate championships and placing 5th in the Maturity. Xtra Steppin Chic had a nice run in the Novice classes qualifying for affiliates in Level 1 and 2.
Taylor had some awesome results - qualifying for affiliate championships in youth 14-18, LNP, Rookie 1 and 2. She was tied for 8th in the GR1 and 5th in GR2. She topped off the show with a 71 in the rookie classes to tie for 3rd/4th across the board in a huge class.
Rested and Dreaming scored a 215 in the Open Derby to place in the money in the Level 2. Steady Aim Fire had a nice run in the futurity and is getting better all the time, she'll be ready for Vanessa to show again next year. Whizkeymakesmelena did the Open Super Series and placed in the money, building up more and more solid runs.
Kendall and Hooper had big plans for this show and Oklahoma this year but unfortunately Kendall's season was cut short when she broke her arm before we left - we know they're already looking forward to next year and can't wait to see her back in the saddle.
I have to brag on this special lady! She came to us about four years ago with the goal of showing her stallion Devine Cool Hand Luke at the Morgan world championships show. We have all worked our butts off to make it happen. Two days ago Chris and Luke took home the Open world championship and the reserve Non Pro world championship! We are so proud of you Chris Holms and Luke!

What a marathon show for us at the BSRC - last week was non stop with 17 of our horses at the Majestic Valley Arena.
On the first day Taylor ended up 3rd in the NHNP1 to win her biggest check yet. Karly was co-champion of the NHNP2 on Sades Benz.
Our youth kids continued to rock with Kendall placing 3rd in the NRHA 13 and Under and Taylor second in the NRHA 14-18. Taylor came back at the end of the week to win the 2hand youth class and Kendall placed in her division as well. The girls kept rolling with Taylor winning the GR1 and placing 2nd in the Rookie 1 and then placing 4th on both horses in the GR2. Kendall was 2nd in the GR2 and won the short stirrup with a 140.
Karly had a beautiful ride and finished 8th in the NP and 6th in the INP. Meaghan catch rode Sades Benz in the Open and had a great ride. Karly rode one more time to tie for 2nd in the LO.
Dennis tied for 4th in the PT Rookie while Dawn was 6th. Chris and Luke put together a lot of nice patterns and are gearing up for the Morgan World Show this Fall.
Vanessa came home and had a fun run on Sia in the Futurity but penalties kept them out of the money. She and Enzo finished Reserve in the Stallion Stakes 4yo Derby for a nice check. Suzie also had a great run in the derby on Angus finishing 5th in the L1.
Meaghan rode Rested and Dreaming and Gallos Estrella in the derby with lots of good maneuvers but unfortunately finished outside of the money. Xtra Stepppin Chic put together a nice run in the Open as well.

Kendall tied for 2nd in the GR1 while Taylor tied for 5th. Kendall won the YRHA Short Stirrup and NRHA 10&Under class. Taylor was 2nd in the 2-hand 14-18 and tied for 3rd in the NRHA 14-18.
Meaghan was second in the 3yo with a 69.5 on Steady Aim Fire. She also was co-champion of the Open on Gallos Estrella with a 73.5. On Sunday Meaghan had an easy ride on Rested and Dreaming to mark a 72 and place 3/4 in the NHO 1/2
Suzie is setting up for a huge run after marking a 68.5 with penalties in the Novice and then she came back to place 5th in the INP and 4th in the PTNP. Dawn and Annie both had really nice rides on Red and Buster.
Next week we move in for the Big Sky Reining Classic in Kalispell - come visit our stalls in the sponsor barn!

Thursday Kendall was 2nd in the GR1 and Taylor bwas T3rd. Christy and Dawn had nice rides in the LNP with Christy tying for 3rd.
On Friday Meaghan rode Vanessa's mare Steady Aim Fire through her first pattern to tie for 1st in the 3yo Open. Kendall followed this up with a win in the YRHA Short Stirrups and Taylor was T2 in the 2-handed youth. Dawn had a great ride in the NHNP and marked a 68.5. Annie took Buster in the pen for the first time and had some HUGE stops. Meaghan had a nice ride on Gallos Estrella but had a lead penalty keep her out of the money.
Saturday's highlights include a 72.5 for Kendall to win the NRHA 10 and under. Taylor went on to win the NRHA 14-18 and also won the R1/co-championed the R2. Christy tied for 4th in the INP.

Back safe and sound from Oklahoma and Kalispell shows! Here are some updates from Slide Into Summer:
Quinn was back in the saddle to tie for 3rd in the LNP, and won the NHNPL2 on Lulu. Taylor was 3rd in the first youth 14-18 class on Luna and Kendall won both the 13 and under and 10 and under on Hooper.
Jarrod was back in the show pen as well and with Enzo tied for second in the NHOL1 and had a nice run in the derby with a couple of penalty points keeping them out of the money.
Taylor won the green Reiner L2 and was reserve in the L1. She was also T3/4 in the rookie 1/2 to finish up a great show for her! Dennis ended up 4th in the PTR, and Dawn and Jane both made big gains this weekend and we can't wait to see them go again at the next show!
Thank you to the Montana Reining Horse Association for another great show close to home and we will see everyone in Wilsall next week!

Thank you so much to the Columbia River Reining Horse Association - CRRHA for putting on such a great show in Redmond. We had a lot of fun and our crew did a great job. Suzie and Master Magnums Dream placed in all their classes and won the CRRHA Novice Horse class as well as 2nd and 3rd in the NRHA NHNP 1/2 winning almost $400. Karly Low and Sades Benz were also in the money in all of their classes and placed 3rd in the Maturity and 4th in the LNP. Congratulations to all and we can't wait to come back next year!
