This is the freshly build home of Nile and Rupe using the bricks from the Majewski house in 1932. It now is Natures Rural Retreat .

This is a old photo of the Michael Majewski home located on the Muddy creek. Majewski made and fired the bricks to build this three story house after his arrival to Frontier County in 1879. The photo is of it being torn down brick by brick after John Rupe bought the property. These bricks were used to build the house that is now NRR as well as one other house.

Here is the history of NRR.

This Jay Crandall family homestead the 160 acres that is now where NRR is located. They were partners with John Rupe and arrived in the early 1880's. They did not make it in Nebraska and moved to Idaho. But their soddy was the first housing.
