You asked for it, so I brought it back! Got a few Mortadellas tonight so grab one before they sell out.

Also on special tonight, the BBQubano! It’s a Cubano, with my pulled pork, on homemade bread. Yeah buddy.

When life gives you lemons (lamb-ons? Shut up Pat) you make lemonade. Or in this case a mortadella sandwich. It starts with some homemade bread (a sesame seeded filone) that I hit with some dukes mayo, pistachio pesto, mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, balsamic glaze and some arugula. Oooh baby talk about a day of redemption. Catch me in a better mood now tonight from 6-9

We’re gonna chalk this up as a lesson in humility and not biting off more than you can chew. Remember last week when I said i was fried? Well the lamb paid the price for it this week. Took the little sweet angel out of the oven to cool last night, tidied up all my s**t and left it sitting on the counter overnight. Came back to it staring at me all sad like and I think we both had a good cry about it. Still trying to think of a way to use the new bread I was working on for it, so there still may be something special tonight. Or I may just make a big loaf to crawl into and die tonight, who’s to say. Anyways, sorry about it yall, better luck next time I guess 😭

So here’s the deal. In the past 2 weeks I’ve bought a house with my lovely wife . We’ve cleaned out the old apartment and moved everything into our new place (you know how moving works). I’ve also still been working my full time job outside of Jim’s while also navigating my 18 month old being in a new place and having sleep regression. Otherwise know as “fun adult s**t”.
So basically what I’m saying is, I’m absolutely fu**in fried, but man if I’m not still trying to pull this damn thing off.
I’ve got most of the usual suspects tonight, the collard greens melt is no more for now, it may make a comeback later but today is not that day. Also no specials tonight but I have one in the works for next Friday for a little Pre-Easter sandwich. Aight, that’s it. See yall tonight 6-9

We have a special guest joining us for ! It’s REUBEN! You know em, you love em, maybe you’re like me and can’t ever seem to find a good one when you’re out to eat so you just make it yourself! Whatever the case may be, I have 7 of these bad boys (woulda been 8, but the camera eats first). So get here early if you want one, market starts at 8 for the race!
