This introduction last night did not go as expected 😅 now I’m trying to figure out the best thing to do 🫠
Rocky doesn’t seem to be taking over the girls that were already free ranging. Maybe he will? They need a rooster to protect them… do I just put Rocky back for now? UGH. If money was no object I’d already have a coop for Rocky & Reba!

Quick egg gather tonight since I moved Rocky, Reba, Tiffany & Karen over to free ranging. It was a task… a whole ordeal lol 😂 that’ll be a separate video!

Rocky boy is just soooo dang handsome!

He’s going to be free ranging soon along with Carl, Black mama, Fuzzy foot, little Red, and Wanda. I’m also going to move Tiffany, Karen, and Reba into the free range flock.
Not quite enough girls - I have 2-3 other girls I want to move, but they need to age a bit more first.

I’m nervous to introduce Carl & Rocky, but tbh Carl is a push over and Rocky, being the small, but mighty man he is, will probably run the flock. Rocky is so gentle and polite with the ladies too and so good at keeping the peace.

I’m hopeful! I’m going to try to do that this evening 🤞🏼 we shall see!
