Country Cousins Farm Our family-owned dairy farm includes a self-serve store where we sell fresh raw milk, eggs, our beef and more! Open 7am to 7pm Mon-Sat.

Country Cousins Farm was established in 1993 when Stan & Sharon Horning moved to northern NY. Their son Derek and his wife Beth have since joined the family business, which now includes not only the dairy farm but also a farm store and a guest cabin. Hard work and hospitality have long since been trademarks of Country Cousins Farm! So we set up some temporary fencing and allowed the crew to graze part of the field instead!

Before & After: we cooked some fresh corn silage in an Air Fryer to find its percent moisture!

If there's too much moisture when we put it in the silo, the silage will juice and puddles will form at the base of the silo.

This sample was about 65% water. A little high, but the weather has made drying a challenge.

Easy, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs! We baked these in the oven using the recipe from https://www.inspiredtaste.net/7179/sweet-and-spicy-oven-baked-ribs/

And WOW! Were they ever tasty!!!
Good thing we made a lot, because the little farmers ate quite a few too!

To make the recipe even easier, we opted to use bottled BBQ sauce instead of their homemade sauce.

We sell pork ribs in our store for $6/lb! 😉
