The last few days have been amazingly busy, yet incredibly rewarding! đ„°
I had my Womenâs Focus GroupâSession Two, and what a beautiful difference a session can make! We served kale and spinach pot stickers to 21 womenâdouble the number who joined us for Session One!
Then on Tuesday, I had the privilege of assisting Dr. Ashanda Esdaille with her HealCare program, creating another beautiful spaceâthis time for men to learn more about their health and prostate cancer.
And of course, I brought food! â€ïž I served sweet potato vegan biscuits with sausage gravy. At first, there was some hesitation. They were nervous about trying something vegan. But after that first bite⊠they were hooked! đ
And today, I had the pleasure of creating ETFâs Lemon Basil Pesto as we prepare for our next steps.
Three different moments. Three different groups. One common thread:
COMMUNITY.
These experiences are showing us what community could look like when we create spaces where people feel safe enough to talk, curious enough to learn, and open enough to try something new.
This is why we do what we do at Ebony Tree Farms.
Because sometimes transformation begins with a conversation.
Sometimes it begins with a bite.
And sometimes⊠it begins with a seed. đ±
Weâre growing something bigger than food. Weâre growing community. đ€
