👩🏼‍🌾👨🏻‍🌾We are at peak harvest time for summertime fresh fruits and vegetables🍅🧄🥒🌶️🍐🧅🫜🥕🥦🍠🫑🍉🥔🍆, so you better stock up for canning and freezing, before their individual growing seasons are done! We have heard rumors that cucumbers and zucchini are coming to an end SOON, due to the extended rainy and high heat index weather pattern we have had this summer.

Shop local and support small businesses at the Evansdale IA Farmers Markets today!

It's going to be a beautiful day Wednesday 8/19 to shop at the Evansdale IA Farmers Markets, and find all kinds of delicious and locally grown or produced foods! Sonny's Place will be open for business in the market space starting at 11 am, serving up the best burgers in the Cedar Valley, as well as scrumptious pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, and homemade pea salad! Then the farmers market vendors set up and will be selling from 3-6 pm, with a rainbow of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as Fall mums, duck and chicken eggs, salsa, pickled vegetables and fruit, a full bakery with an assortment of cookies, scones, sweet and yeast breads, cheesecake cups, dehydrated fruits/vegetables/herbs, pies, and more! We only have 3 craft vendors today, but their products are amazing, including wood flower planters/deck boxes, decorative glass bottles/cubes/pens, adult and kids jewelry, sun catchers, wall plaques, keychains, tshirts and baby onesies, beaded or 'fuzzy' hand crafted plants, and more!

We're back at the Evansdale Farmer's Market space this week!

We start at 11am - 6pm (market goes from 3pm - 6pm).

If you don't come out for us, you should DEFINITELY stop out for some Farmers Market produce... they have some of the best around! Sweet corn, cantalopes, cucumbers, peppers, and of course tomatoes... we have yet to be disappointed!
