Violet Vale Farm breeds quality registered Saanen and Guernsey dairy goats. Genetic selection is based on type and productivity with does excelling in the milking parlor and the show ring. Due to busy schedules, we only make a few shows a year. We often offer quality breeding stock and family milkers for sale. We currently participate in Linear Appraisal, and have participated in DHI testing in th

e past. The herd is Export Monitored in the Voluntary Scrapie Certification Program, and has always tested CAE negative. We have exported animals to the Dominican Republic and Vietnam. Animals sold for export have tested negative for johnes, bluetongue, blackleg, Q-fever, tuberculosis, and brucellosis.
