How lucky are we that so many great local entrepreneurs are lining up to partner with us in the Tri-State Food Bank Small Business Coalition! If you have braved downtown in the last few months, you might have seen that Sixth and Zero at 425 Main Street is now The Well Market + Refillery.

After finishing a degree in environmental studies and spending time doing nonprofit marine shoreline restoration work in Florida, Celeste Ablin found her way back to family in Evansville. She was happy to connect with the Sixth and Zero mission of focusing on community while being kind to ourselves and the planet. Celeste bought the store to continue that legacy, which allows her to combine her passions for both sustainability and artistic expression. The concept of "The Well" as a place for people to gather, replenish, and connect with their village, is also a play on the ideas of wellness and living well. Check out www.thewellevv.com and their socials - an impressive amount of personal products and services to save you money, decrease daily chemical exposure to your family, improve your health, and help our environment at the same time.

This week is a celebration of the new beginning and rebrand for The Well Market + Refillery plus their collaboration in our fight against hunger. Celeste's vision to empower our region to redirect everyday spending toward systems that are more just, sustainable, and built to evolve parallels our mission to provide food where it's needed most. We share the goal to build toward greater equity and access to adequate, higher-nutrition food. We're all in it together, friends. If you want to learn more or help The Well and Tri-State Food Bank deliver critical food to our vulnerable neighbors, scan the QR code. Thank you, and come down to The Well Market + Refillery on Main Street to check out this amazing shop!
