Jake's Happy Hens Family owned chicken farm! Currently closed. God willing one day if we find another property and can start over, we will open again.

At this time our eggs are still available at Adele's Naturally on Lincoln Ave and at the Schnucks Newburgh, Lawndale and West locations. We are still working on relocating and putting together all of the pieces to do so.
Had a positive meeting with the nice folks over at Schnucks Corporate the other day.

Until we can relocate the farm, our eggs are no longer available at the north green Schnucks location.

We are in the process of cycling out our older flock and struggling to keep up with demand. We are also working to relocate and expand our operation to another location, but it will take funds and time. We will not bring in any more hens at the current location and we will gradually wind down. Therefore" our eggs are no longer available at the Darmstadt and North Park Schnucks locations". We look forward to being able to supply them in the future again as soon as we can.

In search of decent pole barn trusses for a good price. New or used. Pitch not a big deal. Looking for 60' wide but 40' would work. Any details of anyone who knows of or where I can find some would be much appreciated.

Due to our new hens starting to lay and for a limited time, Jake's Happy Hens is offering Med/Sm eggs for only $1.50 a dozen. "Also buy two dozen and get one dozen free!" They are only available at the farm located on South Green River Road. Same great quality and the same great taste, just a smaller egg. Thank you for your patronage and we look forward to seeing you.
