JOHNSON FARMS is a diversified family farm raising corn, soybeans, and wheat and we also provide custom farming services to farmers in west central Minnesota and the eastern Dakota's in cooperation with our sister company Johnson Harvesting Inc. We are proud to say that our operation utilizes the latest in precision agriculture innovations which allows us to farm each acre as it's own. We have imp

lemented practices such as grid soil sampling, variable rate fertilizer application, harvest yield mapping, and prescription planting of both corn/soybeans across all our acres. By utilizing such technologies we feel it makes us better stewards of the land while helping us managing our inputs and efficiencies to help guarantee the most return on every acre while building our soils through a properly managed fertilizer and agronomic program. We are a growth oriented family operation and we are always looking for new landowners to work with on building long term relationships. It seems the weeks have been flying by since we got the crop in the ground about a month ago!

We’ve been busy cleaning up and working on equipment, hauling manure and corn, and much more miscellaneous.

This week the weather took a turn and we’re getting some major heat units- which means spraying is a go!
