My favorite part of making these videos is listening to the conversations my kids come up with 😂❤️

In this one they somehow turned a simple bakery day into a debate about whether someone can be the GOAT if they eat too much butter according to Malek 😭

Meanwhile I’m in the bakery making a strawberry kiwi croissant 🥐
The flavors and colors were inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal 🇵🇹 but somehow the kids made the whole conversation about butter instead 😂

This week is also extra special because it’s my middle daughter Aya’s 7th birthday 🎉🥹
It’s hard to believe how fast she’s growing up

Sometimes I listen to these narrations over and over because I know one day their little voices won’t sound like this anymore ❤️

I never expected having my kids narrate my bakery videos would become such a special part of my life
What started as a fun idea has given me a way to spend more time with my kids and create memories we’ll be able to look back on for years to come 🥹

The bakery has always been a family business, but these videos have made my kids feel like they are part of it too

Thank you guys for supporting our bakery, supporting our family, and giving us the opportunity to keep making these videos together ❤️

The visual in this video is me finishing the green apple croissant 🍏🥐 and filling it with green apple tiramisu cream 😭

But the story is one that has really been bothering me lately

The older my kids get, the more I realize how much I missed while building the bakery 🥹

Being a parent is hard
Finding the balance between providing for your family and being present with your family is even harder

One thing that has helped me a lot is being mindful of my actions and making it a priority to spend more time with my kids ❤️

At its core, that was the whole idea behind having my kids narrate my videos

The more I can involve them in what I do at the bakery, the more time we get to spend together making memories

And honestly, none of that would be possible without you guys watching these videos and supporting the bakery

So thank you ❤️
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend more time with my family while doing something I love

It’s crazy listening to my kids’ voices and hearing how much they’ve changed over time 🥹

Especially Malek. I still remember the way he used to say pistachio compared to how he says it now 😂❤️

I can’t even imagine how much their voices will change over the years

Honestly, one of the things I’m most excited about is having my kids watch these videos when they’re older and look back on all these memories together 🥹

In this video my kids are narrating while I make the pistachio infused croissant dough 🥐
Along with a whole bunch of other things at the bakery including baklava, yogurt, and our lahmacun mix 😭

Blessed to have my kids as part of this journey and thankful for all of you who continue to watch ❤️

This was right before we left for vacation so the kids were extra excited and just having fun narrating the video 😂❤️

In the background I’m preparing the Dr Pepper croissant dough 🥤🥐
This is day one of the process where we make the dough and let it proof overnight. Over the next couple of days it will be laminated, proofed, and baked into croissants

Honestly I had no idea if this was going to work 😭
I literally replaced all of the milk and water with straight Dr Pepper and hoped for the best

This was definitely one of my favorite narrations by the kids 🥹
They were having so much fun and I think it really shows in the video

Hope you guys enjoy it and thank you so much for following our journey and watching our videos ❤️

This is a very special week for Mimi 🥹
Her birthday and Eid landed on the same day along with her cousin’s birthday ❤️🎉

But after hearing about a family in need she felt compelled to give them gifts instead
And honestly that made me so proud of her

I’m very proud that she learned how important it is to give even on a day that was supposed to be all about her 🥹

Very blessed and thankful to have such great kids and such a great audience watching our journey together

Happy Eid to everyone celebrating 🌙❤️
And to the people who don’t celebrate, we love you very much too

Thank you guys so much for watching

My oldest daughter Mira basically grew up in the bakery 🥹
Covered in flour or strapped to my wife’s back while we worked

Thinking about it now, it’s honestly insane how far the bakery has come and how fast my kids are growing up ❤️

I’m very thankful to finally be in a position where I can take real time off with my kids
And I feel really lucky to work alongside my family and have my kids narrate these videos with me

My daughter’s birthday lands on Eid next week which makes the day even more special 🌙🎉

This week’s croissant flavor is green apple 🍏🥐
We’ve really been loving the sour flavors lately and I wanted to make something green

Next week I’ll let Mimi pick the flavor 😭
I’ll be missing a few days of work so we’ll see if the guys can hold the place together without me 😂 I’m sure they can

Thank you guys so much for watching ❤️
I’ll see you in the next one

We recently visited King Tut Mediterranean Restaurant at 13510 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133 ❤️

My hope is that this food review by my family can help support this small business 🥹
I don’t think people fully realize how difficult things are right now for small businesses

King Tut is currently owned by a hardworking woman from El Salvador who sacrifices so much for her business every single day
You can genuinely taste the love in the food

And honestly I love the fact that amazing Arabic food can be made by someone from South America 🌎🥖

Thankful to my kids for participating in this food review and thank you guys so much for watching ❤️

Cozy campfire reading, creamy mango croissants, za’atar mac and cheese (shoutout to ), and soccer games were the highlights of our weekend ✨

We’re so thankful for all of you who continue to support us and stop by the bakery ❤️ Even during the busy seasons, your support has allowed us to hire enough help so we can still spend meaningful time with family — and we’re so incredibly grateful for that.

In my kids’ eyes everything probably looks easy today 🥹
Making mango croissants, baking baklava, and putting out all the different things we make at the bakery every day

But what they don’t see is how difficult the road was to get here
This bakery opened over eight years ago and it was honestly the hardest period of my life

I’m just very thankful and happy to be where I am today ❤️
And even more thankful to have my kids narrating my videos and becoming part of this journey with me

Thank you guys so much for watching 🥐

Me and my son Malek tried the viral pineapple Kool Aid trend 🍍😂

Honestly I thought this trend looked silly and ridiculous, but we were so curious that we had to make it ourselves and try it

And somehow… it’s actually so good 😭
Super sweet, tangy, and weirdly refreshing. I honestly don’t even know how to describe it but it perfectly satisfies a sweet tooth

I would not mind having a jar of this in the refrigerator at all times 😂
We both loved it and definitely recommend trying it at home ❤️
