For eight years, I felt pulled between my family and the bakery. Some days, the bakery needed so much of me that it felt like we had another child to care for.
My heart was always with my family, even when work had to come first. That was one of the hardest parts of building this business. It took sacrifice, patience, and more dedication than I knew I had.
After more than a year of making videos on my own, one video narrated by my kids helped open a door I had been hoping for.
Suddenly, my family could be part of what I was building.
It’s hard to put into words how much that means to me.
Something that kept us apart for so long has become something we get to share. Being able to build together as a family is such a blessing.
