Congratulations to our Everett Police Department on winning the Washington Association of Sheriff and Police Chiefs 2026 Wellness Challenge! Police, Corrections and Dispatch agencies across Washington state joined this eight-week wellness challenge which focused on physical fitness, peer support, family wellness, mental health, and nutrition.

Wellness coordinator Cassie Christopher and Chief Goetz accepted the award, a commemorative trophy and pennant flag, at WASPC’s Spring conference earlier this month.

Soccer Float Find kicks off on Monday, June 1! Come explore the Port of Everett's Waterfront Place parks, plazas, and public spaces. You will be looking for a small clear plastic soccer ball with the official Float Find logo printed on a ticket inside. Follow the instructions on the ticket to exchange the clue ball for a handblown glass float made by artists from Schack Art Center. We're hiding 10 clue balls EVERY DAY from June 1-5 for a total of 50. Happy Float Finding!

Soccer Float Find is part of the Port's "Pathway to the Pitch" to extend the fun of the SeattleFWC26 Everett Fan Zone Waterfront Watch Parties on June 11, 12, 18 & 19 at Boxcar Park. The City of Everett, WA - Govt/Visit Everett and Snohomish County Sports Commission and the Port have teamed up to deliver a memorable Fan Zone experience - Game On, Everett ⚽️

3. The Grape & Grain Everett is a live music venue located in Everett.
No Open Mic Sunday, like they usually do, but on May 24th instead we celebrate Bob Dylan's 85th birthday. Feel free to bring a cajon or other percussion instruments. Acoustic style open mic that could possibly turn into a jam.
They have an outdoor patio with dining. Offering beer, wine, and spirits with a Mexican food truck and an American kitchen.

Breaking News: Meta CEO and Co-Founder Mark Zuckerberg is currently in Seattle, as his yacht is occupying a significant amount of space in Lake Union.

How does this relate to Seattle sports? Mark Zuckerberg has expressed interest in acquiring the Seattle Seahawks.

Although Zuckerberg is likely in Seattle for other business endeavors, he will likely also visit the Seahawks.

ICYMI: The Port of Everett is planning a monthlong "Pathway to the Pitch" celebration to extend the fun of the Waterfront Watch Parties for the World Cup - and the fun starts Monday with Soccer Float Find and Soccer Drink Bingoal!

Here's the lineup:
⚽️ June 1-30: Soccer Drink Bingoal - try themed drinks from participating Waterfront Place restaurants for a chance to win a gift card or a commemorative scarf (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available)

⚽️ June 1-5: Soccer Float Find - We're hiding 10 clue balls every day around Waterfront Place; if you find one, you get to exchange it for a blown glass float by artists from Schack Art Center

⚽️ June 8 (noon-2 p.m.): Paws-Up Warm-Up at Pacific Rim Plaza - Meet service dogs and watch the younger dogs play in an enclosed pen with small soccer balls and talk with trainers from Summit Assistance Dogs to learn more about the kinds of tasks a mobility service dog can do and visit with the pups.

⚽️ June 16 (noon-1 p.m.): Soccer Stories at Pacific Rim Plaza - Kids and their families are invited to listen to “World Folktales for the World Cup! Stories with Everett Public Library.” Librarians will share cultural stories and folktales from countries participating in the World Cup.

⚽️ June 25 (4-7 p.m.): Waterfront Place Open House - Chat with developers and Port staff about ongoing projects, get to know community partners and businesses, and hear about what’s coming next to Snohomish County’s destination waterfront – including the full schedule of summer events like Float Find, Jetty Island Days, Music at the Marina, Harbor Hopper, Harbor Tours, Rock the Boat concerts, Sail-In Cinema outdoor movies, and more.
