To be perfectly clear. I am not opposed to paying for art from an artist. The photos I used in an earlier post depicting a Brown Swiss cow were apparently copywrited. I was unaware of this when I posted them, they were simply the most well done dairy cow drawings I’ve seen. I naively assumed they were free and available like so many photos on the web. I was not selling or profiting from the photos, much less claiming them to my own work. I have apologized to the original artist, and removed them as requested. Artists—please consider placing a watermark on the art you post to the world wide internet.

Our son bought this little white faced Brahma cross bull calf yesterday. He paid 1700. A year ago (last June), I sold the big blue horned Brahma cross for 1800 (and was happy with the price).
