Braford steer. Born in May, super relaxed and easy to be around. Our son bought him as a bottle calf project, and took him to the fair. He’ll make a nice project for fair again next year, or just finish him out for beef! Co-op is still getting milk, but could be weaned. Weighs close to 400lbs.

In full transparency, I think he has chocolate milk running through his veins instead of blood sometimes!

24-28lbs of fresh curds + 16ish pounds of water in the 2 gallon bucket.
This is why it’s important to flip the cheese several times while it’s pressing. The top of the cheese only has the water weight on it.

•Puts her all into milking—doing close to 6 gallons a day in her first lactation with our summer heat!!
•Super sweet personality!
•Calved easily and had no troubles.
•Jupiter is on the smaller side of Swiss, and I absolutely love how productive she is! She milks fast and clean and has a super soft udder. It wouldn’t take much effort to convince me to keep her!
