Since it has been so dry and the grass hasn't really been growing, Justin and I have just been letting the goats in on the front yard to eat!! No point in mowing and turning the yard more brown!! However today we decided to let Rooset help herd them back to their field!! He was supposed to be a cow dog (he is terrified of the cows)...apparently he is also a little hesitant with the goats šŸ¤£. Nonetheless the goats left the yard quicker and easier, a few fainted or got stiff..so enjoy!!

Wrapping up the day with the goats!! Got in lots of love, watched the Artemis II splash down and played Jazzy's favorite game with her!! She is growing and getting heavier to pick up!!

Everyone needs a June cow in their lives!!
We have been waiting a few days for this baby and he finally arrived!!
June is such a good cow. She had no issues letting Justin check her milk while we are just standing in the field!! Can you tell she is a favorite!! šŸ¤£šŸ˜

Seriously is he not the cutest!!
I wish I liked charolais and they weren't all crazy because this silver smokey color is so pretty!!
His momma was born from a cow we bought that was already bred, so that is the only reason we have a charolais cross.
Also if the flies are already this bad....this summer is going to suck for the cows.

Yesterday we started with only 1 baby, by 9:30 this morning we quickly got to 10!!
We still have 3 more mommas we are waiting on.
I (Felicia) am really hoping they decide to have their babies during daylight hours. There was no sleeping for the humans on Monday but we finally got some last night!!
The tally right now is 6 girls, 4 boys!!
We are going to need lots of name suggestions!!

Well baby number one made his arrival last night around 10:30. It was cold but we have a seemingly big healthy baby!!
