Today’s feature comes from one of the most proven and recognizable lines in the Angus breed, the legendary Emblynette cow family. We had the honor of purchasing her on our travels to Mohnen Angus.

The next cow we’re featuring in our Mother’s Day donor spotlight series is one that we had the honor of purchasing on our travels from one of the most respected programs in the Angus breed, Mohnen Angus.

We believe her impact on our program is just getting started, and we’re excited about the future she’s building here through her sons and daughters.

The matriarch of the Forever Lady cow family, EXAR Forever Lady 0199, continues to make her mark in our program. Numerous descendants now carrying on the legacy she started. Including these three females that have been apart of our donor battery since they have been in production. Generation after generation, the Forever Lady family has brought consistency, quality, and the kind of cattle that move a program forward.

As we look through the pasture today, her impact is easy to see; daughters, granddaughters, and future generations all rooted back to one special female. Foundation cows like this are what every breeder hopes to build around.

She may not have spent long in the donor pen yet. But, we believe her impact on this program is just getting started.

The kind that combines phenotype, cow power, and the look that keeps you stopping at the fence. Her name is going to become a household name around here in the years ahead.
