Kept pretty quite and to myself today. Spent literally all day in the kitchen except for chore time and to snag a jar of pickled eggs from my Aunt. Whipped up cinnamon rolls and my own pickled eggs. Ended the evening with making Oatmeal cookies for cream pies. 😌

Spring is here and in full swing

As much as I appreciate the rain (and we definitely need it!), I’m more than ready to get back to work full-time and out into the garden. There’s still so much to finish before planting can begin, but all this mud has other plans for now!

With the season changing, we do have animals available and looking for new homes:

• Breeding trio of hogs (Red wattle mix)
• Silkie chicks (almost 2 weeks old)
• Black Copper Marans
• Meat rabbits (can s*x upon request - 5 avaliable)

Currently hatching (now and throughout this week):

• Silkies
• Marans
• Royal Palm turkeys
• Ducks (BYM)

We also have one male pup still available from Mable and Cain. He’s vocal, full of personality, and pretty handsome too!

Additionally, we have two dozen barnyard mix (BYM) hatching chicken eggs available. Pure breeds are possible, but not guaranteed. Our flock includes:

• Marans
• Wyandottes
• Silkies
• Easter Eggers

What a Wednesday! Halfway through the work week and it feels like it's only Monday over here.

We have another round in the big incubator hatching out (120 eggs). Excited to see what comes of those expensive eggs 😅

Peep the 17 silkies that I cannot part with. I'm eager to see what they grow out too.

Next out of the Incubator are Royal Palm Turkeys and ducks!

Tonight we also found more Morels 🍄 cannot wait to fry them up!

Happy Monday morning from the farm 🌞

It’s a busy and exciting start to the week around here! Incubators are hatching, and we’ve got chicks growing out strong. We’re finishing up garden plans and rolling right into cleaning out coops and pens. Patiently but quickly getting everything fresh and ready for the season ahead.

We currently have a few animals available and are open to trade or sale:

🐰 5 rabbits
🐖 Trio of red wattle mix hogs
🐥 Chicks & hatching eggs
🐐 One bottle baby Boer buckling

Spring is here, and we are more than ready for planting season (my personal favorite 😍)

🌱 Flowers will be blooming before we know it, and summer is just around the corner!
