We've had a busy 2025/2026!! Pulled the kids out of private Christan and have been homeschooling! It's been an adjustment, but the absolute best thing we've ever done for our little family!

Said goodbye to our first hand raised beef steer, Mr. T. a few weeks ago.

So thankful to know exactly where our beef will be coming from and not have to worry about how he was treated, or what he was injected with.

There's always someone with something to say when you raise your own livestock for meat. What all the vegans don't understand is how many small mammals are killed when the plows and harvesters come to take their "guilt free" grains and veggies.

The truth is, T spent his days in a large open field with only one other cow friend that he had to share with. He had clean water, treats, and as much fresh grass as he wanted. He got daily pets and scratches. And in his whole life he had 1 bad day. I think most of us would be pretty lucky to say that. ❤️

So much happening on our little farm! A few of our goaties just had babies!

Since our pigeon Ghost had fully recovered from his injuries he went to a home where he can have friends and not be alone.

We've since adopted a Quaker parrot! His name is "Piccolo" aka "Pickle" and we're pretty obsessed with him!

Sold our first 3 goaties! Definitely semi-sweet as I love all my babies so much. It will definitely help with the cost of feed this winter though, so I'm relieved!

Woke up early to feed bottle babies and realized one of my roosters wasn't doing well. After watching him for awhile I realized he wasn't going to get better so I unfortunately had to put him down. RIP HeiHei. We had a love hate relationship but I never like to see them suffer. :(

Came in and made breakfast for the hubs and kids. Then my dad came with his trailer and we had to rush 120 bales of hay into the barn by hand before the rain came. Fed the big goats, watered the cows/pigs, checked for eggs, and looking to redo our chicken run later today.

All during a heat advisory. 🤣🥵
If this isn't a summary of farm life... Idk what is.

And my poor hubs who almost died. 😅

This is Ghost and he's the newest member of the farm. This guy got attacked by a hawk and had some pretty gnarly wounds. I'm slowly earning his trust. We think he's a domestic Tippler pigeon... Which means he's not meant to be out in the wild. Welcome home, little guy. 😍

We've got babiessss!

The baby goats are here and will be up for sale soon! I currently have 3 bottle baby Mini Nubians. One buckling and 2 doelings and 4 Nigerian Dwarf babies. One buckling, 3 doelings. I will also be selling a few does this year as well. Reach out if you're interested!
