Summer’s wrapping up… and what a ride it’s been!

Plenty of sunshine, ample rain fall, swimming pools, vacations, and yes — cow shows.

Now the kids are headed back to school, the spring cows are preg-checked, fall calving is about to fire off, and weaning time is kicking into gear.

Fall has always been one of our favorite times at Shoal Creek — leaves changing, football and that cool morning air.
