We asked the crew what they want to be when they grow up, what they’re really good at, what they hate doing around here, and why they’re late for work.

Summer’s not over just because school is back in session! So we’re giving you two more reasons to hang onto summer just a little longer.

Lawn Boy + Cactus are back in cans and on tap. Grab one, find a spot outside, and let’s squeeze all the life we can out of August. 🍺☀️

👦🏼 Lawn Boy - 4.8%, Barn Lager
Beloved for good reason. Light, crisp, clean, and endlessly refreshing, this is our take on a classic American lager, brewed with simplicity and balance in mind.

🌵Cactus - 7.8%, Double IPA
Juicy notes of pineapple, mango and guava with a soft smooth mouthfeel. Hopped with Citra, El Dorado & Mosaic.

Come out for one last Wednesday evening in the field and give a proper sendoff to the talented vendors who have set up week after week, bringing some of the best local makers, growers, and creators from around Rhode Island to the Barn.

One last market, one perfect summer evening! We’ll see you out there! 🍺

We’re solidly in the dog days of summer here at the Barn. The days are hot but the evenings are getting shorter, and somehow we’re already staring down the final two Summer Markets. We’re not quite ready to think about pumpkin everything just yet, so we’ll just keep pretending summer isn’t ending. We’ve got two refreshing options rolling off the line today:

Pitcher of Nectar - 6.5%, American IPA
Pitcher of Nectar is brewed in honor of Nectar’s, the iconic bar in Burlington, VT and unofficial birthplace of Phish, which sadly closed in the Fall of 2025. True to its namesake, this beer features Nectaron (and Dolcita) hops, Nectar yeast, honey malt, and is lightly fruited with nectarines and peaches. So let’s all raise a glass to Nectar’s and remember: whatever you do, take care of your shoes!

The Chosen One - 8.0% Double IPA
A Barn favorite since the early days, The Chosen One is a smooth Double IPA packed with bright notes of mango, melon, and mixed berries. Full of hop character without sacrificing drinkability, it’s the kind of DIPA that has earned its place around here.

Wow, this is quite the week at the Barn!

We’ve got the return of Westfal, the long-awaited comeback of Ultra Violet, and Stange Design, a beer that’s light, effervescent, and endlessly refreshing. Stange Design will also be the star of our Kölsch Service happening at the brewery on Thursday.

Westfal - 5.7%, West Coast Pilsner
Westfal is a reflection of the lifestyle that inspires us. Our love for the West Coast Pilsner style has only deepened over the years, and this one checks all the boxes: a light body and crisp finish, paired with the subtle yet expressive dry-hop combination of Strata and Mosaic. Inspired by the adventurous spirit of the Westfalia lifestyle, it’s a beer crafted for the open road and the moments that unfold when you follow it.

Ultra Violet - 7.0%, DDH IPA
The double dry-hopped version of Violet is back. Built on a pilsner malt base with a unique combination of floral and citrus-forward hops, Ultra Violet is one we only brew a couple of times a year. So when it’s back, it’s worth paying attention.

Stange Design - 4.5%, Kölsch-Style Ale
This is a beer we’ve been experimenting with for some time, and we’re excited to have it back on tap. Teetering between the crisp world of lagers and the hop-forward ales we love, Stange Design is light, effervescent, and endlessly refreshing. Brewed with Valley Vienna Malt and German Noble Hops.

And if you want to give it the full Kölsch treatment, join us for Kölsch Service Thursday from 5-8pm.
