I bought this cort acoustic in 7th grade and hadn’t really played it since high school. A friend helped me paint the top back then but over time it got dry and chipped. The bridge needed repair (and new pins), fretboard needed oil, frets polished, and a slight neck adjustment. Being an inexpensive guitar to begin with I decided to take it a step further adding a sound hole pickup (to go with the piezo style bridge pickup it already had) and a custom pick guard. Not perfect but a lot of fun.

Been a while but this is the first piece I’ve been excited about in a while. My fiancée was promised (by me) co****le boards for close to five years now and we’re getting married in 9 days so no time like the present I guess. It won’t be the wedding we had planned but it will be a special day for us nonetheless. The second one will have our other dog on it and I’m really happy with how these are turning out. ****le .woodburning
