Today was the first day of school 😍 My youngest son told me we need to buy his teacher a purse because she loves purses 😂

Perhaps we can compromise and get her a Desktop Mini? Teehee.

My oldest son got married this summer.

You might be a little confused, because my oldest son is 9 😂.

Well, we gather each summer with some of our friends from college and our kids now have a whole lot of fun together.

They found a wedding arch in the garage where we were staying, dressed up, established a wedding party, elected an officiant, played actual wedding music, and the parents were all invited to watch.

The little bride walked down the aisle, her dad handed her off with a kiss on the forehead, and my son kept looking at me with big eyes like “Mom?! Is this ok?”

NO, it is not ok!! 😂 Even though it was pretend, it felt far too real!

All that to say, I just had a real-life Mother and Father of the Bride drop off her bouquet for preservation…and I just want to know…ARE YOU OK? How does one witness such an event and not become a puddle on the floor?

For now, I will enjoy fake weddings, legos all over the place, and the thousands of questions and requests that come my way in a given day 😍❤️

The first note-worthy dahlia of the season 😍. Cut today for a “flower emergency.” Didn’t know those existed, did you?
