Pasture raised chicken sale! We have whole chickens, and chicken feet, for sale. These are the finest chickens you can buy anywhere. Freedom Rangers.

We will not hold chickens for special customers, or deliver, or guarantee availability. There are limited quantities and a lot of interest. First come, first serve. Don't miss out.

This Sunday, November 3rd, at 12 noon, sharp. 2463 Green Acres Dr., at 7 mile Chena Hot Springs Road. Cash only. $25 for a 5 lb. bird, $30 for a 6 lb. bird, and $35 for 7 lb. birds. 5$ a bag for chicken feet. The birds are extra large and tasty this year they spent even more time on the pasture than our first year.

Hope to see you here. If there's 10 people here at noon we'll do a three bird maximum, and sell them all immediately.

$25 for four and five pounders
$30 for six pounders and up.

Bring correct change. Two birds maximum per customer due to limited supplies this year.

Gwich’in Grown grows more than just broiler and egg chickens, we also grow the soil’s health through our regenerative agricultural practices.

Some folks call regenerative agriculture “carbon farming” because, unlike conventional farming, it actually sequesters carbon in the soil; it reduces water, soil, and nutrient runoff; and it allows for natural biodiversity to better support comprehensive soil health. Our chickens consume the unfertilized native plants and flowers on our pastures, and encourage biodiversity through pecking, scratching and working the soil and providing manure habitat for beneficial insects. Regenerative agriculture can be a major part of solving the climate crisis, help support crop resilience, and improve the quality of the nutrients in crops.

When folks buy our chickens and eggs they help support the development of micronutrients in their more nutritious food, as well as carbon sequestration in the soil, and that’s not just good for your health, it’s good for the planet too. Here’s a picture of Alisa Alexander, one of the co-owners of our family farm, in our no-till garden that was only fertilized using natural chicken manure, with natural mulch from native grasses to help retain soil moisture. These Mammoth sunflowers will help to provide entertainment and forage for our laying hens this winter.
